This 5 Days Queen Elizabeth & Bwindi Gorilla Safari brings together two of Uganda's most extraordinary experiences, the open wilderness of Queen Elizabeth National Park and the ancient rainforest of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Your journey begins among savannah plains, lakes and abundant wildlife, where elephants, buffaloes, antelopes and other animals roam freely. From there, you travel into the dramatic hills of southwestern Uganda, where the landscape transforms into the misty green world of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The defining moment comes when you step into the forest and meet a family of mountain gorillas in their natural habitant. It is an experience that goes beyond wildlife viewing, it is quiet, intimate and deeply moving.    Arrival in Uganda, Entebbe to Queen Elizabeth

   Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, meet your guide and begin your journey to western Uganda towards Queen Elizabeth National Park. Travel through Uganda's beautiful countryside, passing villages, farms and rolling landscapes. You have a chance to cross the equator as your entering the park Continue to the park and arrive later in the late in the evening, Settle into your lodge, enjoy dinner and relax in preparation for your first full day in the wilderness.

   Day 2

   Game Drive & Kazinga Channel

   An early morning rise and head out for a morning game drive after a warm breakfast. As the sun rises over the savannah, search for elephants, buffaloes, Uganda kob, antelopes and lions. Your guide will help you understand the landscape and the animals that call Queen Elizabeth home. Return to the lodge for lunch, then proceed for the afternoon a boat for the famous Kazinga Channel cruise. The Cruise on the kazinga Channel and Lake George while watching hippos, crocodiles, elephants, buffaloes and an abundance of birdlife along the shoreline.

   Return to your lodge as the sun begins to set.

   Day 3

   Queen Elizabeth Ishasha Sector – Bwindi National Park

   After breakfast, journey through the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park, a quieter and more remote part of the park renowned for its tree-climbing lions. Enjoy a scenic game drive while looking out for lions, elephants, buffaloes, topi and other wildlife. Continue towards Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, with the landscape changing from open savannah to lush green hills and rainforest. Arrive at your lodge in the afternoon, relax and prepare for the following day's unforgettable gorilla trekking experience.

   Gorilla Trekking

   After an early breakfast, transfer to the gorilla trekking briefing point. Meet your ranger guide and receive brief introduction to bwindi impenetrable park and the gorillas before entering Bwindi's ancient rainforest. Following the forest trails through thick vegetation and mountainous terrain as you search for your assigned gorilla family. The trek itself is part of the adventure, you may encounter birds, primates and other signs of life before finally finding the gorillas. When you meet them, take a moment to simply observe. Watch a young gorilla play, a mother care for her infant or a silverback quietly watch over his family. This is not just another wildlife sighting, It is a deeply personal encounter with one of Africa's most extraordinary creatures and experiences. After the trek, return to your lodge, relax and celebrate the experience.

   Bwindi – Entebbe & Departure

   Enjoy your final breakfast surrounded by the peaceful forest. Begin your journey back towards Entebbe, travelling through Uganda's beautiful southwestern countryside.

   There will be opportunities to stop along the way for photographs, refreshments and a final glimpse of rural Uganda. Arrive in Entebbe according to your flight schedule and prepare for your onward journey. You leave Uganda not simply with photographs, but with stories of wildlife, people, landscapes and a quiet moment in the forest that you will remember for years to come.
