Work with Africa Travel Bookings

We run two things: a marketplace that sends travellers to vetted operators, and the back-office software those operators run their trips on. Whichever side of that you sit on, there is a way in.

Who we work with

Four ways in, depending on what you do

Tour operators & DMCs

You design and run trips, and you sell them under your own name.

List your trips free, pay only for the enquiries you choose to open, and run the whole operation in one back office.

  • Publish as many trips as you like. Listing costs nothing and there is no commission on what you sell.
  • An enquiry arrives with the trip, the dates, the party size, the budget and what the traveller is interested in, everything except their contact details.
  • You decide which ones are worth opening. The price is banded on the value of the trip, so a small enquiry never costs what a large one does.
  • The traveller pays a booking reservation fee to secure their place; you collect the balance directly, under your own terms.
  • Then plan it properly: suppliers, clients, trip files with cost and sell on every line, quotes, invoices, receipts, service vouchers and your team.

See what the back office does

Hotels, lodges & camps

You have rooms, and operators bring guests to them.

Get onto the supplier lists of operators working your area, and verify any voucher presented at your desk in seconds.

  • Operators running on our back office hold their suppliers, contacts and agreed rates in one place. Tell us where you are and what you offer, and we will put you in front of the ones working your region.
  • Every service voucher an operator issues carries a number and a verification code. Your front desk checks it on our public page and gets a plain answer: valid, cancelled, expired or not found.
  • That check needs no account, no app and no login: it is a web page and a QR code on the printout the guest is holding.
  • A voucher shows your team the guest, the dates, the service and the notes. It does not show them what the operator sold the trip for, and it never will.

To be straight about it: We are not a booking site for rooms. We do not take direct reservations, hold allocation or sell your inventory: the relationship and the rate stay between you and the operator. What we do is make you easy to find and your paperwork easy to trust.

Travel agencies

You sell travel to your own clients and need the operations behind it.

Use the same back office the operators use, for your own files, quotes and documents.

  • Keep every client, passenger and trip file in one place instead of across a spreadsheet, an inbox and a folder of PDFs.
  • Build a quote from real costs, send it as a document your client can open on a phone, and turn it into an invoice without retyping it.
  • Record payments against that invoice and let the balance work itself out. Nothing derives a total from what somebody typed into a box.
  • Issue service vouchers to the suppliers you are booking, and see which have been sent and which are still drafts.
  • Invite your staff with the access they actually need: an agent runs a trip end to end without being able to spend company money.

See the roles and permissions

Transport, transfers & guides

You move guests, or you guide them, on somebody else's itinerary.

Be on the supplier list, and get a voucher your driver can present and your office can verify.

  • Operators book transfers, vehicles and guides as service lines on a trip file, against a named supplier, that is you.
  • The voucher for your service carries the passengers, the pickup, the dates and the agreed terms, and nothing about the trip's selling price.
  • The same verification page works for a driver at an airport as for a lodge at a desk.
What we run

Two products, and they are separate

The marketplace

Travellers browse trips across African destinations and send an enquiry to the operator running the one they want. Listing is free and we take no commission on the sale. Operators pay only for the enquiries they open.

The software behind the trip: suppliers and clients, trip files that carry what a service costs you and what it sells for, quotes, invoices, receipts, service vouchers with public verification, and a team with real roles.

What the back office does

Neither product requires the other. You can list trips without ever opening the back office, and you can run the back office without listing anything publicly. A lapsed subscription closes the operational tools and leaves your listings, your enquiries and their prices exactly as they were.

Questions we get most often

Nothing. Publishing is free and there is no commission on what you sell. The only marketplace charge is opening an enquiry, and you choose which ones to open.
