Your safari begins the moment you arrive. Our friendly Golden Trips Tanzania team will greet you at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) with a warm smile and personalized welcome. You'll be transferred in a private vehicle to your hotel in Arusha — Tanzania’s peaceful safari gateway city.
Settle into your luxury lodge surrounded by gardens, Mount Meru views, and serenity. In the evening, your private safari guide will brief you on the upcoming adventure.

After breakfast, begin your journey to Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania’s most iconic safari destinations — known for its ancient baobab trees, vast herds of elephants, and rich birdlife.
The park is less crowded, offering intimate wildlife experiences. You'll enjoy a full-day game drive, spotting lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and possibly leopards along the riverbanks.
Picnic lunch will be served inside the park, under the shade of acacias or overlooking the Tarangire River where elephants come to drink.
In the late afternoon, transfer to your luxury lodge in the Karatu area for relaxation.

After an early breakfast, depart on a full-day drive to the Northern Serengeti — one of the wildest, most remote parts of the park, located near the Mara River.
This journey is not just a transfer — it’s a rolling game drive through incredible ecosystems:
- Climb the Ngorongoro Highlands with views into the Crater
- Descend into the short-grass plains of the Central Serengeti
- Continue north through river valleys, woodlands, and granite kopjes
Arrive in the evening to your luxury camp just in time for sunset, right in the heart of wildebeest migration territory (especially from July–October).

Today is fully dedicated to exploring the Northern Serengeti — home to spectacular river crossings during the Great Migration season.
Your guide will take you to the Mara River where, if you're lucky, you'll witness:
- Wildebeest and zebras plunging into crocodile-infested waters
- Predators like lions and leopards stalking prey at the riverbanks
- Massive herds grazing the plains and engaging in the rhythm of survival
Optional Hot Air Balloon Safari: Soar above the Northern Serengeti at sunrise, followed by a champagne bush breakfast in the wild. ($600 pp)
Even outside migration season, the region is teeming with elephants, big cats, giraffes, and scenic beauty.

After a final morning game drive in the North, begin your journey south toward Central Serengeti (Seronera Valley), the predator capital of East Africa.
The landscapes shift from bushy woodlands to golden grasslands — ideal for lions, cheetahs, and leopards.
Spend the afternoon game driving around kopjes (rocky outcrops), watering holes, and river bends. This area has year-round wildlife and is perfect for photography.
Arrive at your luxury tented camp just before dusk for a hot shower, a glass of wine, and a 3-course bush dinner under the stars.

Descend 600 meters into this collapsed volcano, where over 25,000 animals live in a naturally enclosed ecosystem.
