Overview

Discover the diverse landscapes and wildlife of Kenya on this 7-day, 6-night safari from Nairobi through Samburu, Nanyuki, Lake Nakuru and the Maasai Mara. Begin with two nights in Samburu, home to unique northern species and spectacular scenery, followed by a relaxing stay in Nanyuki. Continue to Lake Nakuru for rhino and birdlife viewing before finishing with two unforgettable nights in the Maasai Mara, enjoying exciting game drives across its famous savannah plains.

   Depart Nairobi in the morning and travel north through Kenya's changing landscapes towards the Samburu region. Arrive at Samburu Sopa Lodge, settle in and enjoy lunch before heading out for your first afternoon game drive.

   FULL-DAY SAMBURU

   Spend a full day exploring the spectacular Samburu National Reserve. Enjoy game drives in search of the region's distinctive wildlife, including the famous Samburu Special Five, as well as elephants, lions, leopards and abundant birdlife. Samburu Sopa Lodge is positioned within the reserve with expansive views of the surrounding landscape.

   SAMBURU – NANYUKI

   After breakfast, depart Samburu and travel south towards Nanyuki. Enjoy the changing scenery as you move from the rugged northern landscapes towards the beautiful Mount Kenya region. Arrive at Maiyan Nanyuki, check in and enjoy a relaxed afternoon.
