Our longest Kenya group joining safari gives the Masai Mara three full nights, which is the single biggest difference between a good safari and a great one. Rather than one rushed day in the reserve you get two complete days of game viewing, enough time to follow a leopard sighting properly or wait out a river crossing during migration season.From the Mara the route continues through Lake Nakuru’s rhino sanctuary, Lake Naivasha with its optional boat ride to Crescent Island, Hell’s Gate for a walking or cycling day among the red cliffs, and finally Amboseli beneath Mount Kilimanjaro. Park entrance fees, full board accommodation, all meals on safari, mineral water and transfers are included, with the vehicle and guide shared to keep the cost sensible.

Kenya
After an airport or hotel pickup and breakfast, your guide briefs you on the days ahead before you depart for the Masai Mara National Reserve, breaking journey at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint and for lunch in Narok. Arrival at the park is followed by a game drive before dinner and your first night at the lodge or camp.
Today is a full day of game driving across the Masai Mara, departing camp with picnic lunches to spend as long as possible on the reserve. Its network of tracks allows for exceptional close-range sightings of the resident wildlife, and lunch is taken at the Hippo Pool. Return to the lodge for dinner in the evening; an early-morning balloon safari can be arranged at an additional cost.
Another full day game drive in the reserve. You leave the camp with picnic lunch boxes to spend the entire day in the park. The landscape here is scenic savannah grassland on rolling hills, and the reserve’s extensive road and track network allows for close range viewing and photography. Break for your picnic lunch at the hippo pool, looking out for hippos and crocodiles. Dinner and overnight at the camp.
After breakfast in the camp, you will have an opportunity for a cultural tour known as the Maasai village tour, at an extra cost. Depart for Lake Nakuru National Park arriving in the evening, with time spent at leisure before dinner. Dinner and overnight stay at the Lodge or Hotel.
Rise early for a game drive through Lake Nakuru National Park, known for an exceptional variety of birdlife and a haven for both black and white rhino, plus colobus monkey and giraffe. Late afternoon brings the drive on to Naivasha for dinner and overnight, with optional boat trips and a Crescent Island excursion available at extra cost.
This morning starts early with registration at Hell’s Gate National Park, where cycling or walking reveals extinct volcanoes, obsidian formations and a dramatic gorge lined with red cliffs. A path leads south to natural hot springs. After a hot lunch en route, continue on to Amboseli, arriving in the evening for dinner and overnight; cycling is available at extra cost.
Today is dedicated to game driving across Amboseli, where swamp grounds attract elephant and hippo alongside plains game and birdlife, with views of Mount Kilimanjaro when weather permits. Picnic lunches allow for a full day out, returning to the lodge or camp for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast and checkout, you leave Amboseli National Park for the drive back to Nairobi, with Mount Kilimanjaro sometimes visible on the horizon in clear conditions. A picnic lunch is served along the way, and you arrive in the late afternoon, ready for drop-off at your hotel or the airport.
