Overview

Experience the diverse landscapes and wildlife of Kenya on an unforgettable 8-day safari. From the vibrant capital city of Nairobi, travel north to the spectacular Samburu National Reserve, enjoy the scenic highlands of Nanyuki, explore the wildlife-rich Lake Nakuru National Park, and finish with two exciting nights in the world-famous Maasai Mara before returning to Nairobi.

   NAIROBI – SAMBURU

   Depart Nairobi early in the morning and drive north towards Samburu, passing through the scenic central highlands and Nanyuki before continuing towards Isiolo and Samburu.

   Arrive at your lodge/camp in time for lunch. After a short rest, enjoy an afternoon game drive in Samburu National Reserve. Look out for elephants, lions, leopards, giraffes, zebras and the famous Samburu Special Five.

   FULL-DAY SAMBURU SAFARI

   After breakfast, spend the full day exploring Samburu National Reserve. The reserve is renowned for its unique dry-country wildlife and spectacular landscapes along the Ewaso Ng’iro River.

   Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives with a picnic lunch or return to the lodge for lunch, depending on your preference.

   SAMBURU – NANYUKI

   After breakfast, depart Samburu and drive south towards Nanyuki, enjoying beautiful views of Mount Kenya and the surrounding highlands.

   Arrive in Nanyuki and check in to your hotel/lodge. Spend the afternoon relaxing or enjoy an optional visit to a local attraction such as the Equator crossing or a nature experience.

   Arrive in Nakuru for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive. Lake Nakuru is well known for its rhino population and offers opportunities to see buffalo, giraffe, zebra, lion and other wildlife.
