7 Days Kenya Group Joining Safari

Overview

This seven day group joining safari covers four of Kenya’s finest wildlife areas and mixes classic game drives with days where you can leave the vehicle behind. The Masai Mara gives you the big cats and a full day of game viewing, Lake Nakuru delivers rhino and flamingos, and Lake Naivasha adds the option of a boat ride to Crescent Island.Hell’s Gate National Park is walked or cycled between its red cliffs and volcanic plugs, and the safari closes with two nights in Amboseli, where elephant herds gather beneath Mount Kilimanjaro and an evening nature walk with a Maasai guide can be arranged. Park entrance fees, full board accommodation, all meals on safari and mineral water are included throughout.

   our lagoon Scenic Holidays guide meets you at the airport or your hotel, with breakfast to follow. You will be introduced to your guide and given a full briefing regarding your safari programme. Once these final details are settled you depart for the Masai Mara National Reserve via the viewpoint at the Great Rift Valley, arriving in the Masai Mara in time for lunch. After lunch proceed on an afternoon game drive, tracking various animal species and birds with your driver guide. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge or camp.

   Masai Mara Full Day

   A full day is spent exploring the Masai Mara’s rolling grassland, leaving camp with picnic lunches to maximize time in the reserve. Renowned for its close-range game viewing, the Mara rewards patient exploration, and lunch is taken at the Hippo Pool. You return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight, with an optional early-morning balloon flight available at extra cost.

   After breakfast your guide will pick you up and proceed to the Masai village for a cultural tour, at an extra cost. We then depart for Lake Nakuru National Park arriving in the afternoon, with the rest of the afternoon spent at leisure. Dinner and overnight stay at the Lodge or Hotel.

   After an early start, spend the morning in Lake Nakuru National Park, known for its rich birdlife and role as a protected sanctuary for black and white rhino, alongside colobus monkey, leopard and giraffe. The drive to Naivasha follows in the afternoon, arriving for dinner and overnight; optional boat rides and a Crescent Island visit are available at extra cost.

   Lake Naivasha Hells Gate -Amboseli

   An early breakfast precedes registration at Hell’s Gate National Park, where you can cycle or walk among its landscape of extinct volcanoes and obsidian formations. The park’s gorge, lined with red cliffs and volcanic plugs, leads south to a smaller gorge and natural hot springs. With a hot lunch en route, continue to Amboseli, arriving in the evening for dinner and overnight; cycling can be arranged at extra cost.

   A day of game drives in this park, which contains swamp grounds where elephants and hippos bathe in abundance. A variety of plains game, antelopes and birds can also be seen, and Mount Kilimanjaro’s peak too if weather conditions permit. We cater for picnic lunches and you return to the Lodge or camp for dinner and overnight.

   Optional: an evening nature walk with a Maasai guide, or an early morning balloon ride, can be arranged at an extra cost.
