Overview

Experience the wild beauty of Northern Kenya on this 5-day safari combining three nights at Ashnil Samburu Camp with a relaxing final night in Nanyuki at Maiyan. Explore the Samburu National Reserve through exciting game drives, with opportunities to encounter unique northern species such as reticulated giraffes, Grevy’s zebras, gerenuks and Somali ostriches, alongside elephants, lions and leopards. The safari concludes in the beautiful Nanyuki region, with scenic views and a chance to unwind before returning to Nairobi. Ashnil Samburu is set along the Ewaso Nyiro River with views towards Ol Olokwe

   Depart Nairobi in the morning and travel north through the changing landscapes of Kenya towards Samburu. Arrive at Ashnil Samburu Camp, enjoy lunch and settle into the beautiful riverside surroundings. Later, head out for your first afternoon game drive in search of Samburu's unique wildlife.

   After breakfast, depart Samburu and travel towards Nanyuki. Enjoy the changing scenery as you move from the northern landscape towards the foothills of Mount Kenya. Arrive at Maiyan Nanyuki, check in and spend the afternoon relaxing and enjoying the peaceful surroundings.
