Depart Nairobi in the morning and travel through the scenic Great Rift Valley towards the Maasai Mara. Arrive at your camp or lodge for lunch, followed by time to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Overnight in the Maasai Mara.
Enjoy a full day exploring the Maasai Mara with exciting game drives across the vast savannah plains. Optional activity: Hot-air balloon safari at sunrise, offering breathtaking views of the Mara from above, followed by breakfast in the wilderness. Continue with the day’s game drive, with opportunities to spot lions, elephants, buffalo, giraffes, cheetahs and other wildlife before returning to camp in the evening.
After breakfast, leave the Maasai Mara and travel towards Lake Nakuru. Enjoy an optional boat ride on Lake Naivasha before continuing to Lake Nakuru for dinner and overnight.
Enjoy a morning game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park, famous for its diverse wildlife and beautiful scenery. After the game drive, continue to Lake Naivasha for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast, explore Hell’s Gate National Park and its dramatic landscapes. Later, continue towards Amboseli National Park, arriving in time to relax and enjoy views of the magnificent Mount Kilimanjaro.
Spend the day exploring Amboseli with game drives across the park. Enjoy spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro while searching for elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras and other wildlife.
Enjoy a final morning game drive in Amboseli before departing for the Namanga border and continuing to Arusha. Arrive in Arusha and settle in for the evening. Hotel booked on bed and breakfast basis.
Depart Arusha and travel to Lake Manyara National Park. Enjoy a game drive through the park, known for its diverse wildlife, beautiful scenery and abundant birdlife.
After breakfast, continue towards the legendary Serengeti National Park. Enter the vast plains and enjoy an afternoon game drive as you begin your Serengeti adventure.
Spend a full day exploring the Serengeti on game drives. Search for lions, elephants, cheetahs, giraffes and other wildlife while enjoying the spectacular scenery of the endless plains.
Enjoy a morning game drive in the Serengeti before travelling towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Arrive at your lodge or camp and relax while taking in the beautiful surroundings.
Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a memorable morning game drive. Explore the crater floor and its incredible concentration of wildlife before ascending and continuing to Arusha, where your 12-day Kenya and Tanzania safari comes to an end.
