Overview

Kenya and Tanzania budget safari starts covers the best of the national parks for the animal animal lovers from Masai Mara, a home for the big five. Lake Nakuru National Park is home to flamingoes. Amboseli National Park for the elephants and Serengeti National Park for the Big Five. Then, later, you'll end with Ngorongoro.

   Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve

   You depart from Nairobi via the floor of the Great Rift Valley and have the first stopover at the famous viewpoint to have the scenic view of the rift. Then, you'll proceed to Narok to freshen up, and then proceed to the camp (Miti Mingi Eco Camp) for a hot lunch. Later, you rest for an afternoon game drive, then dinner and an overnight stay at the camp.

   You'll have breakfast at the campsite as you receive a briefing on the Kenya and Tanzania discovery budget safari tour. The Masai Mara National Reserve is famous for its large number of African wildlife species. The annual great migration of wildebeest and zebras from July to October. You depart the camp with a packed picnic lunch to enable you to have an extensive game drive. You'll break for your picnic lunches in the wilderness and continue building your safari experience till late afternoon, dinner, and overnight stay at the camp.

   Masai Mara to Lake Nakuru National Park

   After breakfast discovery Kenya safaris will take you for an optional activity of a visit to the Masai village. The village will allow you to experience the Masai culture that has been preserved for years. At the village, you will only pay $10 per person, paid directly at the village. Before 9:00 am, you get back to the camp and have a full breakfast, then proceed to Nakuru while having your lunch en route. You enjoy the beautiful scenery of Mount Longonot and Lake Naivasha, and you even enjoy an optional fun activity of boat riding. Then, finally, you'll proceed to Nakuru. Dinner and overnight at Miti Mingi Eco Camp.

   You'll have breakfast at the hotel, then leave for the game drive with the best Kenya discovery safaris at Lake Nakuru National Park, known for its variety of birds including the flamingoes. You enjoy the view of hippos, buffaloes and crocodiles at Baboon Cliff. Later, you have your lunch en route to Amboseli National Park. You check in at Amboseli Camp for dinner and overnight stay.

   Amboseli National Park

   You'll have breakfast at the campsite with the views of Mount Kilimanjaro if the weather permits. You proceed to the campsite for a full-day discovery Kenya safari experience across Amboseli National Park. You traverse the Amboseli plains with a game drive. You'll visit the Amboseli viewpoint for thrilling views and continue the game search till you reach the base of Mount Kilimanjaro. You break for the picnic lunches and later, with a game drive, move to Amboseli Swampy area where the Elephants bathe in abundance as they graze on wet grass. Other animals visit in search of drinking water as the area serves as the only source of water during the dry season. By 5:00 pm, with a great Amboseli National Park experience, you exit the park and drive to the campsite for at least 2 hours optional activity. Dinner, Bonfire, and overnight stay will be at the same campsite.

   Amboseli to Arusha

   Early breakfast at the campsite, you'll check out, and drive to Amboseli National Park for a game drive en route to the Namanga border. You enjoy at least 2 hours and 30 minutes of driving from Amboseli Kimana Gate to Amboseli Mashenani Gate. You exit the park and drive to the Namanga border for immigration and health matters. At around 10:00 am, the shuttle from Nairobi will pick you up for a drive to Arusha Town, where the Kenya-Tanzania budget Wildlife safari will continue for 4 days as you cover the Northern Tanzania Park. Your overnight stay will be at Charity Hotel, Arusha.

   Arusha to Serengeti National Park

   After breakfast at your Arusha Hotel, you meet our staff and driver-guide for a briefing about the whole trip, and leave Arusha for a 6-hour drive to Serengeti National Park with lunch en route. Upon arrival at the main gate, you have the registration done, then with a game drive to the camp, which is located in the Central Serengeti. Today you are scheduled for at least 3 hours of game drive. Then, you have dinner will be served at Serengeti Safari lodge, followed by an overnight stay at the same campsite.

   Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater

   After an early breakfast at the campsite, leave with picnic lunches for at least a 6-hour game drive within Serengeti National Park. Here, you will track the wildebeest, zebras, giraffes, lions, lionesses, black rhino, cheetah, leopard, hyena, bushbuck, lesser kudu, wild dog, Kongoni, impala, grant’s gazelle, black-backed jackal, mongoose, Olive baboons, Vervet Monkeys, among other animals, are found here and you will be lucky to see some of them. By noon, you leave the park with a stopover at Olduvai Gorge at an extra cost of $45 per person. By evening, you'll arrive at the conservancy area, where you will have dinner and stay overnight at Samba campsite.

   Ngorongoro to Arusha

   After breakfast at the camp, you'll leave for a game drive within the Ngorongoro Crater, where you will be able to descend with a game drive with the view of Common lions, African elephants, black rhino, blue wildebeest, leopard, cheetah, and hyena. Wild dog, Grant’s zebras, African buffalo, and hippopotamus at the crater rim. You have the picnic lunch at the crater rim, then start ascending to the main gate, exit the crater after 6 hours, and drive to Arusha, where you will be dropped off at your Arusha Hotel.
